GetWebPics is a program for downloading pictures from Internet-sites. This application will easily allow you downloading pictures, photos, icons, new wallpapers for desktop and image-galleries from Internet.
Great number of options will help you to download only that what you want.
Application features:
1. Two types of searching and loading of pictures: searching of picture references in web-pages and direct downloading sequences of pictures based on URL template of picture or web-page.
2. Support of web-form authorization.
3. Search for URLs in JavaScript.
4. Different modes of filtering images: by file size, by image size (width, height), file type (gif, jpeg, etc.), file name mask (e.g. th_*.gif).
5. Tuning of scanning site mode to find pictures (scanning level, where to find images, where from download pictures).
6. Exact tuning of downloading performance (number of downloading threads, timeout, number of connection attempts and timeout between connections).
7. Using multiple connections for downloading.
8. When downloading big files there is an opportunity to cancel loading of concrete file.
9. Different modes of saving downloaded pictures (saving to one folder, division of pictures into different folders as web-pages with these pictures are saved on site, division of pictures into different folders as these pictures are saved on site).
10. Possibility to save settings for next usage in other tasks.
11. Embedded image-viewer with thumbnail view, full screen and slide show modes; transition effects between images.
12. Getting information about every downloaded file (saving place on local disk, URL, URL of page where the file was downloaded from, downloading date and time).
