As the name suggests, this is a calendar that sits on your desktop. ItВґs different from most calendar programs as it doesnВґt clutter up your taskbar or system tray. You can enter important dates like dentist appointments, birthdays or deadlines. Then when you turn your computer on, or that day rolls over you will be alerted of any events.

Desktop Calendar also handles your computerВґs wallpaper, displaying a different picture each month. Or if you prefer you can turn this feature off and use your own wallpaper. The program comes with a default Wallpaper Pack but more can be download, or you can make your own.
