The decision of Microsoft to make easy-to-use powerful BI tools finds its reflection in PerformancePoint Server 2007. This application is based on SharePoint Server and Microsoft Office Excel, which is one of the most widely used analysis and planning tools around the world. PerformancePoint Server 2007 provides a full range of tools for company performance motioning and controlling, including scorecards, dashboards, management reporting, analytics, planning, budgeting, forecasting and consolidation. The only shortcoming of this application is its lack of the ability to print the needed documents. Perpetuum Software offers an add-on solution for PerformancePoint and SharePoint, PerformancePoint Print WebPart. The product is intended for printing of scorecards, dashboards and reports directly from PerformancePoint. PerformancePoint Print WebPart includes a web part and an ActiveX control solution. This product can be easily installed onto SharePoint 2007 or Windows SharePoint Server. All the end-user
needs to do is click the PRINT PREVIEW button to see how the needed document will look. If the user is satisfied with the document preview, it can be sent to any printer. PerformancePoint Print WebPart is extremely convenient in use. All print settings (paper type, paper size, page margins) are easily customized. This add-on works with all web part elements found in the main content page. PerformancePoint Print WebPart is a simple solution for printing and allows the use of all PerformancePoint advantages in full force!
